"A hard day's work deserves a fair day's pay"

Here at Flamefast we are incredibly pleased to announce we are an accredited Living Wage employer!

Did you know that 5.5 million people in the UK, that’s one in five workers, earn below the real Living Wage year on year, based on what they actually need to get by? An employee on the real Living Wage earns almost £1,800 more per year than those on the government minimum. That comes out to more than a year’s average gas and electricity bill – or over six months food and drink bills. In most of the country, that’s around three months rent!

The Living Wage initiative highlights this issue and works to encourage all employers to increase their staff’s wages above the government minimum, so their employees can do more than just get by. We couldn’t agree more with this attitude and have always worked to ensure our staff are paid fairly - so we’re very proud to be able to say we’re now an accredited Living Wage employer. Our staff are what make our business the success it is, and this is just one way we want to make sure they feel valued.
