Description

The construction of all three models (PT/CP/MB) are designed and built for precision, long life and minimum maintenance. Their rigid mainframe assemblies made up of cast iron base, side frame, and fixed outfeed table give exceptional stability, and accurately house the feed and cutterblock bearings, the infeed and thicknessing tables.

Solidly built from steel and cast iron by Sedgwick, this planer thicknesser range is built for the heavy wear and tear encountered in professional workshops. The cast iron tables fitted to the machines are planed for accuracy and continuity. Unlike many other machines, the planer tables do not have to be removed or tilted when used in the thicknessing mode. The machine features a rigid surfacing fence that can be easily and quickly adjusted for angles and is also supplied with adjustable Shaw guards for rebating.

These larger models have a separate feed drive motor for the thicknesser and the three phase options also has two feed speeds. Both machines feature a braked motor as standard and have a conveniently located emergency stop siwtch
