Description

This is the smallest Bandsaw in the upgraded range of floor standing Axminster Industrial bandsaws range designed for frequent use in the busy workshop or training situation. It has a powerful, smooth running induction motor, large cutting capacities, steel and cast iron construction and is manufactured to the exacting standards we expect from our Industrial Series of machines. It offers excellent safety features including an electro-mechanically braked motor, key release emergency stop switch and safety interlocked doors.

Other features include a cast iron table, balanced, cast iron wheels, two blade drive speeds, heavy duty blade bearing guides throughout, mitre fence and an exceptionally rigid rip fence with an easy to read magnifying scale. Fitted with 2 x 100mm dust outlets for excellent dust control when fitted to a suitable extractor. One often overlooked feature in a bandsaw is the ease of changing the blade, this machine has a quick release blade tensioning lever which substantially speeds up the blade changing process.

This upgraded bandsaw is fully compliant with both the requirements of BS 4163:2014 (for Educational establishments) and PUWR98 (workplace) regulations. This machine must also appeal to those requiring the very best safety and performance standards in their workplace. Note a 16A supply required. Supplied with mitre fence, rip fence and an Axcaliber Premium M42 blade.
